Update: Tyrese Maxey is excited about this upcoming year with the Sixers as is Rich Paul and the 76ers. Paul does not want Tyrese out of Philly. However, the Ben Simmons situation is totally separate.

Dumas reported this yesterday:

Source: There’s a high chance that Tyrese Maxey will be a part of any Ben Simmons trade.

Rich Paul would like both of his clients out of Philadelphia.

[Wojnarowski] Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela has agreed on a two-year, $46M extension, sources tell ESPN. He had two years left on his current deal and now is under contract through 2024-2025.

Hey r/nfl, this is Pro Football Reference! Ask us anything (AMA)

Given how close we are to the beginning of the 2021 NFL regular season kicking off, we were asked by r/nfl moderators to hold an AMA and are happy to do that! In case you’re not familiar with us, Pro Football Reference is a website that tracks statistics from the current season as well as all of the NFL’s history. PFR is always looking to improve what we can offer; for example in July we were able to incorporate John Turney and Nick Webster’s research of unofficial sacks from 1960 to 1981.

We also have Stathead, a premium service that has a wide variety of tools that you can use to do very specific statistical searches across league history. We offer a one-month free trial for new monthly subscribers, or if you’d like to jump for the annual subscription, you can use discount code NFLAMA20 for a $20 discount! You can get started at Stathead.com.

If you want to get regular updates from us, there’s a couple of ways to do that. We have a newsletter you can sign up for free that will provide Monday, Wednesday and Friday issues recapping and previewing NFL action. We are on Twitter @pfref providing fun stats on Sunday and throughout the week. If you want something a little more visual, we just launched an Instagram as well.

We’re excited to have the 2021 season finally get started, and we’re happy to answer any questions you have for us about the site or football or whatever else you want to know! We’ll begin answering questions around 1 PM ET (an hour after this was posted).

[Greg Auman] As NFL teams stock their practice squads today, it's a simpler deal because salaries are no longer negotiable. Rookies/players with less than two years get $9,200 a week, which is $165,600 for a full season. Veterans get $14,000/week, which is $252,000 for full season.
