Are NBA superstars overly dependent on foul calls based on artificially created contact?

Yes I'm baiting off of the France USA match-up where the US of A are choking big time, but there is also a lot of truth to it. It's almost as if these guys forgot how to play the game properly now that they're not getting weird ass calls all the time.
