He's really doing it. Luka Doncic is actually doing it. I don't think this sub appreciates how historic what Luka is doing right now.
In Slovenia's Olympic debut for basketball, Luka Doncic looks like a man amongst boys with 31 points in the FIRST HALF on scorching efficiency. Luka is dominating Argentina, currently the 4th ranked nation in the world with a strong basketball program. OG basketball fans will remember how Manu gave the Americans a 30 piece and Argentina embarrassed USA in 2004 and won gold.
Luka has already led Slovenia to it's first ever Olympic games, putting up a 30 point triple-double in the process. He has them cruising to their first ever Olympic win in basketball. He's on track to break the single game scoring record. Is there anything he can't do?
EDIT: Pulling for "FIBA Patty" Mills to bring home Australia's long overdue first medal in basketball. After years of heartbreaking 4th place finishes, there's no one more deserving. And with a rather light field, it's now or never for Patty to get his medal.
