Jeremy Lamb deserves credit for coming back from an ACL tear, lateral meniscus tear, and fractured knee in less than 11 months and still being a valuable role player

On February 23rd, 2020, Lamb suffered a torn ACL, lateral meniscus tear, and a fractured knee in the same injury. Many questioned when he would be able to play again, and how much he could contribute if he could get healthy again. An injury like this can be a career ender (at least at the NBA level) for many players, but Lamb fought through it.

On January 20th, 2021, he returned to the court for the pacers and put up 10 points on 4/8 shooting. He was a +10 in a 12 point loss.

In his 36 games (8 starts) this season after returning from the injury, Lamb managed to average 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on 43.5/40.6/94.7 shooting splits, which is quite impressive considering what he was coming back from.

Due to him just being a role player, this return didn't garner much attention so I wanted to shed light on it and give him credit for being in game shape after a catastrophic injury like that.
