Introduction
This offseason has been fairly eventful for the Philadelphia Eagles. From a near-complete overhaul of the coaching staff to a startling dearth of moves in the front office, I feel truly split as to how the offseason went. All I do know is that I’m amped up and ready for football to be BACK, BABY.
It really has been a long time since I felt this unsure about the future of the Philadelphia Eagles franchise. Is Jalen Hurts a franchise-caliber QB or not? Did the Eagles do enough to fix a clearly broken wide receiver room? Can the OL stay healthy? Can Miles Sanders learn how to actually play RB? What the hell is going on with the TE position? These are all genuine questions to which we won’t have answers for months. I do believe that an offense with that many question-marks likely won’t take my breath away, though. Defensively, what is the plan regarding the EDGE rotation? Will Fletcher Cox continue his slow decline or will he rise back up to be a dominant force in the league once again? Does a team really even need linebackers? Will the secondary finally play well with some new faces in the building? Will anyone stay healthy? The defense has just as many question marks as the offense. While I may not be overly optimistic about the 2021 Philadelphia Eagles, I am irrationally excited to learn the answers to these questions (some more than others) and I can not wait to discuss the possible outcomes with you here. Without further ado, might as well jump right in. Within this wall of text you will find…

Thanks
Special thanks to /u/PlatypusOfDeath for allowing me to post one of these reviews (even though MTC signed up.) We pulled one hell of a switcherooni on you! Another huge thank you to /u/n0_pun_intended for letting me use their Defend the Draft piece to provide an extremely informative breakdown of the Eagles 2021 draft class. I know for a fact that I could not have written that section better and I’m very grateful for the help on this. Finally, thank you to /u/MikeTysonChicken for allowing me to bother him with questions about this. I’m a big dumb idiot and this thing would probably look even worse had he not helped me with formatting and making sure my ideas weren’t totally ridiculous.
