Hello everyone, you may have seen my groundbreaking post exposing Dwight Howard for being a bad teammate and choosing the wrong jersey number yesterday, but alas more information has come to light and I need to apologize to Dwight.
New numbers have been revealed for the rest of the Lakers roster today and upon review, it turns out that it's Joel Ayayi who really messed things up. Allow me to explain.
Yesterday, here's what the Lakers roster looked like:
- 0 - Russell Westbrook
- 1 - Trevor Ariza
- 2 - Wayne Ellington
- 3 - Anthony Davis
- 4 - Rajon Rondo
- 5 - Talen Horton-Tucker
- 6 - LeBron James
- 7 - Carmelo Anthony
- 8 - Retired for Kobe Bryant
- 9 - Kent Bazemore
- 10 - DeAndre Jordan
- 11 - Malik Monk
- 12 - Kendrick Nunn
- 13 - Retired for Wilt Chamberlain
- 39(?!) - Dwight Howard
- 15 - Austin Reaves
However, today three new numbers were unveiled. Mac McClung and Chaundee Brown chose numbers 37 and 38, most likely in an attempt to make Dwight Howard not look so fucking stupid by wearing number 39. Conclusion: Mac McClung and Chaundee Brown are AMAZING teammates.
But then, a tragedy occurred. It was announced that instead of choosing #14, Joel Ayayi chose to wear #17 instead. Devastating. Now the roster looks like this:
