February 13, 2020. That’s the last time.
After that was the 2020 All-Star Break, followed by a west coast road trip, and finally a four-game home losing streak that was still going on when the season shut down in March.
Then came the hiatus, the bubble, and a season of empty/partially filled arenas.
The 2020-21 Celtics played one game in front of a full crowd, game 4 of their player series vs the Nets. They lost. This season, they’re in front of full crowds again, but they’ve started 0-3 at home for the first time in franchise history.
So all-in-all, they’re on an 8-game full crowd home losing streak, that now spans three different seasons.
The last home win with a full crowd was the game Tatum scored 39 and out-dueled Kawhi as the Celtics beat the Clippers in overtime in the final game before the 2020 All-Star break. I know it’s been 628 days, but that shit feels like 628 years ago.
