The last one that wasn't one of these 3 postions was 26 years ago. Keyshawn Johnson. Teams have adopted a value per position ranking that they dont stray from often anymore. If they dont have a need there or talent that fits the criteria they trade out and a team jumps up to take a position of value talent. Will there ever be a number one overall pick again that isn't a tier 1 or tier 2 value position?
