The league needs to come down harder on all dirty plays, not just the ones that result in injury.

The playoffs this year have been particularly bad with dirty plays. We have had trae young getting chopped in the throat, capela pulling someone on a rebound (which ironically injured himself) Clarke getting dragged down in mid air, and so much more. Now that it’s finally led to an injury the league will likely step in and do something about it, but it’s a too little too late situation.

The league is letting things escalate too much before getting involved and it’s hurting the product. I like psychical playoff basketball. I do not enjoy watching two teams head hunt each other’s stars and escalate to dirtier and dirtier plays until it gets out of control.
