There are five Williams' who have a strong chance to be drafted in this years NBA Draft, including a Jalen Williams and a Jaylin Williams

There are currently five (5) players with the last-name Williams who have a very good chance of being drafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. Additionally, there are two more Williams' who are borderline draft prospects who are on the board to be drafted in the late-second-round by some media outlets but not by others.

Among these Williams' are a Jalen Williams and a Jaylin Williams, both of whom are near locks to be taken at some point in the draft, according to all mock draft sources.

These Williams', in order of their consensus draft projection, are:

  1. Mark Williams, C, Duke (projected to be a mid-first-rounder)
  2. Jalen Williams, G, Santa Clara (projected to be a late-first-rounder)
  3. Jaylin Williams, F, Arkansas (projected to be anywhere from a late-first-rounder to a late-second-rounder)
  4. Alondes Williams, G, Wake Forest (projected to be a late-second-rounder)
  5. Trevion Williams, F/C, Purdue (projected to be a late-second-rounder)

  6. Bryson Williams, F, Texas Tech (borderline prospect; not expected to be drafted though some outlets believe he can be)

  7. Vince Williams, F, VCU (borderline prospect; not expected to be drafted though some outlets believe he can be)

Could this be the most Williams' ever to be taken in a single draft class? What about the most of any last-name to be taken in a single draft class?
