People often say that "voter fatigue" kept LeBron from winning more than 4 MVPs and that he deserves much more. But after he won his 4th in 2013, what year did he actually get robbed in? If anything, his strongest case in a year he didn't win would be all the way back when he had 0 MVPs in 2006.

Let's go year by year since 2013:

2014: LeBron: 27/7/6, 64.9% TS, 54-28 record(2 seed)

Winner: Kevin Durant: 32/7/6, 63.5% TS, 59-23 record(2 seed)

This one wasn't very controversial at the time. The 1% TS gap hardly makes up for 5 PPG or 5 more wins(with Westbrook hurt half the season.) MVP 1st place voting was Durant 119, LeBron 6.

2015: LeBron: 25/6/7, 57.7% TS, 53-29 record(1 seed)

Winner: Stephen Curry: 24/4/8, 63.8% TS, 65-17 record(1 seed)

Again, this isn't very controversial. LeBron's efficiency this season was a career worst thanks to a back injury. In fact, even 2nd place MVP finisher James Harden put up equal or better stats with more wins this season.

2016: LeBron: 25/7/7, 58.8% TS, 57-25 record(1 seed)

Winner: Stephen Curry: 30/5/6, 66.9% TS, 73-9 record(1 seed)

I don't think much needs to be said here.

2017: LeBron: 26/9/9, 61.9% TS, 51-31 record(2 seed)

Winner: Russell Westbrook: 32/11/10, 55.4% TS, 45-37 record(6 seed)

This is certainly one of the more controversial MVPs in recent memory, and LeBron's stats actually stack up pretty well with the three main candidates of Westbrook/Harden/Kawhi. However, similar to Giannis this season, LeBron got punished for being in between Westbrook and Harden in wins while playing in a far weaker conference with much better teammates. He got a total of 1 first place vote this season

2018: LeBron: 28/9/9, 62.1% TS, 50-32 record(4 seed)

Winner: James Harden: 30/5/9, 61.9% TS, 65-17 record(1 seed)

Almost identical statlines this year between LeBron and Harden, but one won 15 more games. Even though LeBron obviously had a far worse team, it would be completely against precedent to give it to anyone but Harden this season.

2019: Missed playoffs so no chance

2020: LeBron: 25/8/10, 57.7% TS, 52-19 record(1 seed)

Winner: Giannis: 30/14/6, 61.3% TS, 56-17 record(1 seed)

Somehow, this one was slightly controversial. I'm not exactly sure how. Giannis led in PPG, RPG, TS%, and team record, with LeBron's only edge being assists. In addition, Giannis had no teammate who was half as good as 2020 Anthony Davis. Maybe people conflate the playoffs with the regular season?

2021: Hurt so no chance

2022: Missed playoffs so no chance
