[Amin Elhassan on why his relationship with ESPN deteriorated] So we’re sitting there (on the Jump), and the first segment he is on, I’m sitting there and I see him on the screen, and I look at everybody and I’m like, “Y’all really wanna do this?”

Amin Elhassan: I was someone who was bold with his statements at my prior employer— at ESPN — and I got cracked down for it. Some might say my relationship deteriorated immensely with my employer because I was bold when everyone else said “Just go with it. I guess this is the new norm,” I said “No! This is unfair; what’s happening to these people. It’s happened to these people over there because you guys wanna hire this guy? That’s not right!” I said it and I’ll never forget this: I was on-air on July 1 when free agency started and I expressed explicitly to everyone making that show, “I don’t want to be on-screen with that guy. I get it. He’s the new toy. You wanna run him out there? Run him out there. Just leave me off of that segment.” They said “Okay. We got it. We got it.” So we’re sitting there, and the first segment he’s on, I’m sitting there and I see him on the screen, and I look at everybody and I’m like, “Y’all really wanna do this?” And they went through the whole —

David Sampson: Who are you talking about?

Amin Elhassan: I’m not gonna say it, because —

Chris Wittingham: It’s Woj.

Dan LeBatard: It’s Adrian Wojnarowski, but it’s not coming out of his mouth.
