[Tim Bontemps] Ja Morant said today was the first time in his career that his father asked for his jersey after a game. Said it was special for him to get a triple-double here at Madison Square Garden, saying it was a place he always has held a special feeling for.

Tee has always been there for Ja in his career. He was there at his first playoff game, the 52 point game, every single one of them. But the game where he needs his son’s jersey is the MSG game. Everybody loves playing at the garden but never for the home team.
