People who don’t like the Jaylen Brown contract, what would you have rather Boston have done with the money instead?

We often talk about player contracts and how many players are overpaid or aren’t worth the money being paid to them. What are alternatives Boston could have done with this money to set them up for success. If this is considered a bad deal what would be an alternative and why?
