If Jason Peters starts for the Seahawks, he will join Jackie Slater and Ray Brown as the only full-time O-lineman to reach 20 Seasons in the NFL. - Peters would also become the oldest full-time Offensive Tackle to ever play in the NFL.

Jason Peters has lowkey been a paragon of longevity. With both of Seattle's tackles stricken with injury (LT Charles Cross with a Turf Toe, RT Abe Lucas with a knee injury), they brought on Jason Peters to join the practice squad to reenforce the line.

With Abe Lucas going to IR, all signs are pointing to Peters being promoted to the active roster in the next few weeks, if not this Sunday.

A start for Seattle would give Peters 20 Seasons in the NFL, tied with Jackie Slater (who spent his entire career with the Rams from the mid-70s to the mid-90s) and Ray Brown (A guard for multiple teams from the mid-80s to mid-2000s ) for the most ever by a full-time offensive lineman

(Side Note - Lou "The Toe" Groza played 21 Seasons in the NFL but his last 7 were exclusively spent as a Placekicker)

Just a crazy level of consistency at one of the NFL's toughest positions. Dude missed the entire 2012 Season with two Achilles Tendon ruptures and went on to play 11 Seasons after the fact. Just nuts.
