The latest QB ranking from The Ringer criticizes Brock Purdy for "holding the ball for an eternity." Just last week Brock had a 111.3 QBR and was blitzed 84% of the time (the highest ever).

Brock's grade didn't change at all and we can see why. The people at the Ringer have no idea what they are talking about. They are just throwing stuff at the wall.

The Giants blitzed Brock Prudy on 33 of his 39 dropbacks (84.6%), the highest blitz rate in a game in the NGS era. Likewise, Purdy averaged the fastest time to throw of his career (2.34 seconds).4

How does his QBR of 111.3 square with that? If he held the ball for an eternity we would expect a horrendous game from his last week.
