Who are the biggest “Tricked Y’all” players? Players who were hyped up after a short spell of strong performances but then either had their weaknesses exposed or generally failed to live up to those expectations

My answer would be Christian Wood, the news of his signing with the Lakers reminded me of the way people talked about him when he first broke. The man behind Shaq’s famous “I apologise, I wasn’t familiar with your game” quote was like Covid the way he suddenly sprang up out of nowhere in early 2020, scoring the ball on all 3 levels and filling some of the gap Blake Griffin left in the team

Fast forward three years later to Dallas. Now he’s an inefficient shot chucker who can’t play defence, can’t grab rebounds, and can’t set a screen or do anything that would help the offense and got benched by a team starting Dwight Powell at the 5 and Reggie Bullock at the 4, all while reportedly being a locker room cancer. Now he’s taking the min to be a back up on the Lakers and fans are debating if even he’s good enough for that
