Brian Windhorst says that Tatum's poor shooting recently might be because he forwent wrist surgery in offseason: "He got 3 or 4 opinions and, to use [Tatum's] words, 'Not all of them suggest surgery.' He said he did what he needed to do and hopes that's going to be enough."

Brian Windhorst said that there was a very high chance that Tatum was going to have wrist surgery in the offseason, but chose not to after seeking several opinions from different doctors. The Celtics are also reportedly not worried about the state of his wrist because it's his non-shooting hand. But Windhorst speculates that Tatum may have forwent a surgery that he needed and is now paying for it with his shooting slump.

Last night Jayson Tatum shot 3-13 from the field and 0-4 from three in 27 minutes against the 76ers.

And a few days ago, this clip of Jayson Tatum missing jumpers in an open gym went viral. Many saying that Tatum "lost his shooting touch" which could be attributed with his injured wrist.
