Weighted Results
I'm trying something new by showing the results and graphs first, then explaining the methodologies.
Unweighted Results
Unweighted results account for all lower rankings as well.
Methodologies
- I finished charting players and their ranks using this post by u/gds519 as an amazingly helpful starting point.
- The final scores were derived from the average Z-scores across the categories covered further below.

Categories Explained
Points
I continued the u/gds519 system by awarding the rank #1 player 100 points, #2 99 points, #3 98 points... and so on, while not ranking awarded no points, then summing the totals across the lists. I converted the point totals to Z-scores to better relate them to the group mean and standard deviation when implementing them into the final results.
Peak
This covers each player's highest achieved ranking. I used a similar method to invert each player's peak ranking, then found the Z-scores for the players' peaks relative to the group average.
Average (Bonus)
For the few players that effectively never dipped out of The Top 100 while eligible (and appeared 3+ years), I found their average ranking. I then found related Z-scores and added a constant so that it would still be a bonus for the lower part of this special group (and not a malus).
T1, T2, T3, T5...
"Times Top 1", "Times Top 2", "Times Top 3", "Times Top 5" and so on in the shown increments. I then found the Z-score to see how impressive the count was relative to the group mean.
Weighted vs Unweighted
Weighted
The "weighted" version excluded the T50, T60, T70, T80, T90, and T100 categories from the final scoring. Players only received credit for T40 ranks and higher. Since ballots only include 20 slots, this seemed like an interesting way to massage away all outlier votes.
Unweighted
The unweighted version averages the Z-scores from all categories. There were more similarities than differences between the versions, but the differences were nevertheless interesting.
Top Performers
Points
The Top 20 in accumulated points from 2011 to 2022.
Average
Averages for the players that never missed an eligible year, and who appeared for 3+ years.

Nine players have been ranked #1.
Years Top 2
Fourteen players have been ranked in the Top 2.
Years Top 3
Seventeen players have been ranked in the Top 3.
Years Top 5
Twelve players have been ranked Top 5 multiple times.
Years Top 10
24 players have been ranked Top 10 multiple times.
Years Top 20
31 players have been ranked Top 20 for 3+ years.
Years Top 30
24 players have been ranked in the Top 30 for 5+ years.
Years Top 40
28 players have been ranked in the Top 40 for 5+ years.
