Two of three NBA playoff games will be played on TNT tonight. The game being relegated to NBA TV is one of the two most compelling series in the 1st round of these playoffs (Boston/Brooklyn being the other). The Wolves/Grizzlies series has young stars on both sides of the ball. Specifically Ja Morant and Anthony Edwards, who both have the potential to become faces of the league. In what should be their coming out party to a national audience, the NBA has decided to tuck the game away in favor of Suns/Pelican series that everyone knows is going to be a sweep or 4-1, and a Miami/ATL series that will likely be one-sided as well.
While those who are fans of these teams will likely find a way to watch this game, it is incredibly disrespectful to both teams and the NBA fan base as a whole. u/NBA, do better.
