This team looks really good even without KD. Crazy how far this team has come since that infamous Celtics-Nets trade.

I looked at Justin Fields 40 time with video editing software
the clip was from the bigten network, and of the run they said was the best. video was 30fps.
first frame with his hand off the ground was 28 seconds and 09 frames
the frame I am positive he was first over the finish line was 32 seconds and 25 frames
so 4 seconds and 16 frames. 16/30=.5333
so I have 4.533.
bottom left blue number is the second and frame
start
finish
he may have got over an instant earlier, but the angle sucks. maybe you could drop it a hundredth of a second.
The Miami Heat, with a record of 24-24, are 12-12 at home, 12-12 on the road, 5-5 in their division, 15-15 vs the East, and 9-9 vs the West
Now that’s .500 for ya.
They’re also 0-4 in OT.

Why don't defensive lineman line up backwards and backpedal rush the quarterback?
These defensive lineman would be completely unblockable due to the block in the back rule as they are only showing their back to the o-line. Because of this they would have a free rush on the quarterback and the o-line could only block them towards the quarterback as that is where their chests are facing. This seems pretty foolproof to me and I don't understand why teams have never tried this.

[Brady] 'Looks great coach...I decided to get one too'. In response to Arians getting a SB tattoo.
[Kubena] LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, the 2019 Biletnikoff winner, was already thought to be a high first-rounder even without a 2020 season. A 41-inch vertical and an 11-foot broad jump at pro day is helping solidify that. Some have him as high as No. 5 with the Bengals.
Eli Manning never received a single vote for MVP. Only 2 QB's have failed to do this and made the hall of fame. Both of them retired before the award existed.
I got in an argument the other day about the joke that is Eli Manning's HoF candidacy. The absolute only argument in favor is the 2 super bowl rings, claiming that automatically puts him in. 11 QB's with multiple rings failed to make the HoF before Eli. Granted most of those weren't starters for all of their championships, but some of them were.
The obvious comparison is Jim Plunkett. Plunkett was never considered an elite QB during his career, but known for his tenacity and overcoming adversity. Eli was known for being Peyton's brother, and having a really good defense. Both QB's have the same career winning percentage of .500. Similar to Plunkett, Eli has never been considered even a top 5 QB for even a single season. And Plunkett also had better overall performance in the playoffs than Eli. Plunkett is not in the HoF because he was not very good. He was an okay player who happened to win 2 championships, and doesn't deserve to be in the HoF, and neither does Eli.
But lets not stop there. Lets mention 2 QB's who were very clearly better QB's, and have multiple championships, but aren't in the HoF: Phill Simms and Jack Kemp. Simms has 2 rings. One of those games he didn't start, but only because we was knocked out for the season after dominating all year. He did not have an MVP season, but did have an all-pro selection, and a Jim Thorpe award, which was chosen by players. Simms was consistently amongst the most dominant players at the position throughout his career, amassing a 95-64 career record that would have likely been much better if not for having numerous seasons cut short by injury. Jack Kemp dominated for 10 years, making 5 all-league teams and 1 MVP with 2 championships. The primary knock on him being that he played in the AFL and retired 1 season before the merger to be a Congressman. Then again its called the pro football hall of fame, not the NFL hall of fame.
Eli being considered for the hall of fame is an insult to those guys I mentioned. Its also an insult to guys like Rich Gannon, Joe Theismann, Randall Cunningham, and plenty of others. Its also kind of insulting as a fan who watched him for 14 years during which he was never even considered good.

Jazz team plane hits a flock of birds upon takeoff and is forced to land due to engine failure
The Jazz’s team plane ran into some issues upon takeoff and immediately turned back to Salt Lake City after an engine failure.
DL8944, Salt Lake City-Memphis, returned to SLC shortly after takeoff with what appears to be a left engine issue. Playback is available at https://flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n651dl#273e0d38… This Boeing 757-200 is powered by PW2037 engines. It's one of the dedicated charter 757s in Delta's fleet.
The same twitter account later confirmed:
The aircraft belongs to Delta. Was carrying the Jazz.
Many Jazz players tweeted immediately following this incident, Donovan tweeted a prayer emoji while others tweeted thankful phrases like “God is good.”
I can confirm that this is the Utah Jazz team charter flight. The plane hit birds during takeoff resulting in an engine problem and immediate landing.
[Daniels] Mac Jones caught a ball at the end of his Pro Day. Said it was a tribute to his HS coach. Also wanted to show Belichick the play call... "Navy runs that play a lot - a midline run play... Obviously I know Belichick loves Navy, so I showed him that. It's all fun and games."
[Palmer] The expectation is that Alabama star WRs Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith won’t work out today. Mac Jones will be throwing for a second time today and didn’t have either for the first session. But he will have RB Najee Harris running routes for this session I’m told.
[Palmer] Today look for Mac Jones to incorporate more off balance and creative throws in his script. He feels he’s better than most think in that area. It’s a question that teams have had. When things break down, and they always do in the NFL, can he make plays?

The Miami Heat haven't won a game since Meyers Leonard got traded
On March 17, 2021, Meyers Leonard and a 2nd round pick was traded to the OKC Thunder for Trevor Ariza. The Miami Heat didn't want him due to his bad words.
On that same day, they faced the Memphis Grizzlies and lost by 4.
Ever since then, The Miami Heat have been 0-6 ever since Meyers Leonard has been traded.
Coincidence? I think not
Today, CP3 Failed to get at least 2 AST for the first time in his entire career, Regular season and Playoffs
1,063 Consecutive games of at least 2 assists, second only to Stockton’s 1,390. A distant 3rd is Kidd with 688
If anyone deserves a ring, it’s this guy. He has shown he can bring back franchises from being a lottery team
If it wasn’t for an injury, this guy would’ve beaten the greatest team ever (GSW KD) and most likely been a champion by now
[Schefter] Presumptive No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence is declining the chance to attend the draft in Cleveland and is instead choosing to watch it at Clemson with a few family members and friends, per sources. Despite NFL’s invite, Lawrence never wavered in his desire to watch draft at Clemson.
[Kollmann] I don’t mean this as a slight towards Zach Wilson at all but I’d still take Justin Fields 2nd overall. Dominant athlete + incredible work ethic. Most guys like that, no matter their flaws in college, tend to be good pros. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Cam, etc. All freaks who work hard

Apparently Rodney Hood and Hayley Williams of Paramore used to be neighbors and he taught her to crip walk
For context, Williams and Hood are both from Meridian, Mississippi.
About a year ago in response to a tweet asking Hayley how she learned to c-walk, she replied:
worst. c-walk i ever saw ... but i learned it back in mississippi. feel like my neighbor rodney taught me? also i think he may be an nba player now?! if it wasn’t him it was someone on the junior varisty bball team i was on. we were so little!
After Hood got moved to Toronto this past trade deadline, Raptors beat writer Blake Murphy, remembered this exchange and asked Rodney about it yesterday:
I asked Rodney Hood about this. He had no idea that his neighbor Hayley is now Hayley Williams. Also says he can't dance, but he'll take credit.
Full video of his response.
[OC] Ranking All 32 Starting Long Snappers
Since it's that time of the season, I've decided to rank every starting Long Snapper in the league. I will be using a couple of criterion to rank them:
The Criterion
Time of Service
The most important role of being a long snapper is consistency. The more consistent you are, the longer your career will be. The ranking for tenure will be determined by number of seasons spent with current team (Including Upcoming 2021 Season)
-
15+ Seasons - 12 Points
-
13-14 Seasons - 10 Points
-
10-12 Seasons - 8 Points
-
5-9 Seasons - 6 Points
-
3-4 Seasons - 4 Points
-
1-2 Seasons - 2 Points
Accolades
The next best way to determine Long Snapper success is through the accolades they earn. If a player consistently makes Pro Bowls or All-Pros, they obviously deserve to rank higher
-
First Team All-Pro - 3 Points per berth
-
Second Team All-Pro - 2 Points per berth
-
Pro Bowl - 1 Point per berth
Collegiate Background
One of the biggest draws of a long snapper is the wild nature. An elite Long Snapper can come from anywhere, it matters not if they come from a big name school or a small one. So the weirder, the better
-
NCAA Division II, III, or Unaffiliated - 4 Points
-
NCAA Division I (FCS - Football Championship Series) - 3 Points
-
NCAA Division I FBS (Non-Power 5 Conference) - 2 Points
-
NCAA Division I FBS (Power 5 Conference: ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac 12, SEC) - 1 Point
Reputation
Finally, the most subjective of all categories. If a certain long snapper has something neat, wacky, or chad-worthy. They get a bonus point. For example, Jon Dorenbos would earn a bonus point for his side-gig of being a professional magician.
- Bonus Point for Reputation - 1 Point
Tiebreakers
Ties between season are broken first through longevity difference and secondly through higher accolades
NOTE This is by no means a decisive end-all list and if your favorite snapper ranks low, that’s perfectly ok. That’s just the results of my arbitrary guidelines...except Don Mulbach, he’s always #1.
But enough of the preamble ramblings, I know you're all here for the rankings.

[Gridiron Assassin] We all know the @ChicagoBears are so comical at QB... have you caught their all time receiving leader?
[NBA] Congrats to @spurs coach Gregg Popovich on becoming the 3rd head coach in NBA history to win 1,300 games!
Pop moved to #3 all time in wins in the regular season. Needs 36 more to move into #1 all time.
Congrats to @spurs coach Gregg Popovich on becoming the 3rd head coach in NBA history to win 1,300 games!
[Funchess] For those of you that DONT KNOW...my FAMILY PASSED AWAY FROM THE VIRUS
[Wojnarowski] Horford plans to remain w/ OKC teammates and train at the team’s facility. After season, Horford will have 2 years, $53M left on deal and Sam Presti has pledged to work w/ Horford and his agent Jason Glushon on finding a destination that fits better with this stage of his career.
Kevin Durant back in 2010 with a tweet poking fun at guys wanting to team up and form a super team. Now...
Now everybody wanna play for the heat and the Lakers? Let's go back to being competitive and going at these peoples!
Lmao. Dude wants to have his own team with Kyrie, couldn’t even last 3 months. Harden, Blake and now Aldridge. Lol.
[Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources: As the Oklahoma City Thunder turn to younger players in the nightly rotation, five-time All-Star center Al Horford will be no longer active for games this season.
Enes Kanter reacts to Nets still having one more roster spot to use in the buyout market: "Thanos? Or maybe Jesus?"
Free agent LaMarcus Aldridge plans to sign with the Brooklyn Nets, sources tell ESPN.

Possible trade coming between the Bears and Steelers
Very random, as I’m a packers fan. I was just playing warzone with randoms, ended up with a female teammate. She had her mic on and I could hear her husband talking in the background about a “deal”. Then something was said about he would love to play in Pittsburgh. I tried to ask the girl for info but she felt a bit awkward when I asked if she could tell me who her husband was. All she would say was that it was her husband being loud in the background and that he’s an NFL player.
Anyways, he currently plays in Chicago (I did look up her gamertag which is linked to her twitch/IG and she is wearing bears gear in some pics). The last thing I heard was that if no one else calls within the next 30 minutes he’s gonna sign a 3 year deal in order to facilitate the trade because he would love to be in Pittsburgh. I know this is big speculation, but I heard what I heard.
What is your favorite Outlier season?
I find it hilarious that in an all together forgettable NFL career, Lendale White had a 15 TD season in 2008. What are your favorite statistics like this?
[Sammy Watkins] I want to thank the ravens organization and coaches for the opportunity, I cannot wait to get started with the guys this year will be one to remember for along time..! Let’s go ravens....! 😈😈😈 #FLOCKGANG
Zion has only played 66 games in his NBA career. He has never had a full offseason or full training camp. He's basically still a rookie. Yet he is now averaging 26.0ppg on 66.5% TS this season.
Zion is shooting 62.7% from the field. For reference, Shaq only ever beat that mark ONCE, and that was in his final season in the NBA when he averaged 9ppg for the Celtics.
Zion ranks 8th in PPG and 6th in TS% in the entire league. Out of the top 50 players in the league in scoring, Zion is #1 in TS%.
Zion is having an absolutely incredible season scoring wise. And he's only 20 years old. It's nuts.
[Yates] Randall Cunningham turns 58 today. Not only was he one of the most electric QBs to ever play the game, let’s not forget the time he booted this legendary 91-yard punt
[Rittenberg] Former Colts HC, Dolphins OC, and CFB legend Howard Schnellenberger has passed away
